Picturall Mark2 Duo

Picturall's media server Picturall Duo is perfect for installations that don't require that many outputs, but need total control of the content through one box. In theatre and museum use for instance, 1 to 4 outputs is usually sufficient, but you need rock-solid reliability, and a broad range of video control features such as blending, key-stoning and show programming.

Picturall Duo is a lightweight media server with all the heavyweight software features of Picturall's other media servers. Duo is a part of Picturall's Mark2 lineup that provides more modularity, scalability and even more outputs in each of the media server products.

Picturall Duo has two DVI outputs that can be extended to 4 Full HD outputs, and it comes with its own control software, Picturall Commander. You can also use external controllers through ArtNet and DMX if you prefer. Blending layers together is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3 with Picturall Duo, as is warping and display positioning.

Technical specification:

  • Includes 2 DVI outputs
  • Extendable to 4 Full HD display outputs using Matrox Triplehead2go or Datapath x4
  • Perfect for small scale installations.
  • Equal software features compared to Picturall Octo
  • Controllable using Picturall's own Picturall Commander software, or external controllers
  • 200GB SSD media storage
  • Optional 2 input cards
  • 4K playback
  • Uncompressed FullHD playback

Picturall Mark2 Quadro

Picturall Quadro is a light, yet powerful member of the Picturall product family. 4 physical outputs make it a perfect solution for small scale installations and shows. Quadro has equal software features compared to other Picturall media servers and it is also controllable using Picturall’s own Picturall Commander software, or external controllers. quadro smallleft2 lowres

Picturall Mark2 Broadcast

Picturall Mark2 Broadcast is a purposefully designed media server for the broadcast industry. Picturall Mark2 Broadcast is similar to Octo, but with a few superpowers:16 DisplayPort 1.2 outputs, Framelock+Genlock option and 4K@30fps / optional 4K@60fps 10bit uncompressed playback.

Picturall Broadcast is at its best at installations where highest precision synchronization is needed between displays as well as between displays and cameras to avoid flickering in a broadcast situation. This is largely due to two features: framelock and genlock. Framelocking is the using hardware to synchronize the frames on each display connected to the server. When graphics and video are displayed across multiple monitors, frame-locking helps to maintain image continuity. Genlocking enables the process of synchronizing the pixel scanning of one or more displays to an external synchronization source.
